Ways To Break Up And Still End Up Being Close Friends

By Donnie Evans

It is very difficult to break up with someone without hurting his or her feelings. These are 5 ways to break up with her and still remain good friends.

Being honest. Just tell her what you feel because it's better to end it now than you ending up cheating on her. There's no harm in talking to her, in fact she might even respect you more because you opened up to her. The love you feel might be vanishing but who knows maybe she feels the same way too.

Be gentle. You feel outraged and you think that your partner is a total jerk and it was even wrong for you to take her into your life. The truth is you just feel this way because she made you mad. Just cool down and when the time is right you'd want to spend time with her again.

Tell your partner in person. If you really want to be friends with her ever again then you'll do this in person. It's going to be very awkward and difficult but it's so much better than breaking up with her over the phone.

Make time for her. Since you've broken up it doesn't mean that you are not allowed to talk to her. You still can! Just make sure to avoid uncomfortable moments like eating at your favorite restaurant. Going to places where you usually go when you were still together. Doing that just brings the pain back and you would want to avoid that in the best way possible. Make her feel that even if your not together you can still have fun as friends.

Avoid cliches. Just be truthful and tell her what you really feel and what you really think should happen. Break up lines are not helpful and they don't work. You'd just make the situation worse than it already is.
