Is It Too Late To Stop My Divorce From My Cheating Wife?

By T Dub Jackson

My wife may have cheated but I'd do anything to stop my divorce. Is this how you feel about your marriage? Some men really do take their marriage vows seriously - even the, for better or worse part of those vows.

Divorce is quite a tough process. Take the possibility; while the process is on-going, you could come up to regretting it because of realizing that you still love your wife on behalf of her, cheating. It's going to be a waste of time and money and the worse part is that, it's already too late to trace back the cuts. Below are the possible queries you might have.

Taking the Responsibility to Reconcile

Why would I be the one working out when she's the one who made a mistake?

Yes, it may not be your fault but let's not get into blaming who's who. Take to consideration her reasons why she had done such grievous act and try to analyze if you had contributed to it. She may feel hopeless to recover your marriage although she wanted to but she could be that guilty for her to take the first move.

What she's going through might not be that easy so if you have the patience to understand, acknowledge it. She could be in a sandwich where her emotions are mixed up which made her incapable to decide.

How Would I know?

Whether or not the divorce has been processed, It's not yet too late to start over if both parties agree to regain what was lost and add up what is better.

However, the bright side won't serve its purpose if you won't, from better to worse, experience the pain of life. More often than not, we stuck ourselves to learn and realize something, the hard way even if there is an easy way.

Playing the Hand You've Got

What's done already belongs to the past, however it leaves something to remind the pain. Saving the marriage is not as good as saying, "honey, I miss you, let's start over". The situation is still fragile that even a single word could break the moment. Don't pretend that everything is still okay.

You can't pick up where you left off. But, you can go back to the beginning and start over by playing the hand you've been dealt together and making better choices, collectively, this time around.
